Bayesian techniques have been debated and/or challenged for years in the context of attempting to shorten the clinical development paradigm - whilst retaining its proper scientific and/or statistical validity. However, it is one thing to decipher an appropriate "adaptive trial design", and another thing to run and/or to manage the clinical operations bundled to such complex trial designs. Therefore, this presentation will focus on the core CDMS steps and technical insights applicable first to design and test a flexible trial database, and second to operate a genuine adaptive clinical trial - from a CDM perspective.
